FOTONA LIGHTWALKER
The Fotona LightWalker is a high-performance dental laser system with a wide range of clinical applications. The development of laser technology has allowed the Lightwalker to provide rapid, non-invasive and successful treatments for periodontal conditions such as:
- Closed curettage (removal of dead inner tissue from the gum pocket in front of the tooth),

Process
- The Nd:YAG laser removes the diseased epithelial lining (the junction by which the gums attach to the bottom perimeter, or cervix, of each tooth)
- The Er:YAG wavelength removes the calculus from the root surface
- Now that the diseased lining is removed, it must be replaced. The Nd:YAG beautifully solves this issue by coagulating the soft tissue at the cervix and forming a fibrin clot, again forming a healthy connection between gum and tooth.
This TPT treatment offers unmatched success rates compared to traditional, surgical, and more invasive methods, and can be delivered for the patient rapidly and successfully in-house at ADHPL with the LightWalker technology.
