EMS PROPHYLAXIS MASTER

AIRFLOW/PIEZON/PERIOFLOW

The Swiss Prophylaxis Master is an extraordinary technology created to revolutionise the teeth cleaning process. Scale and cleans are traditionally done with intensive use of hand instruments and scalers, which may be invasive or even scratch oral surfaces. After decades of these techniques, the Prophylaxis Master offers a patient-centric alternative that is safe, fast and comfortable through the principles of Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and with three special handpieces – AIRFLOW, PERIOFLOW, and PIEZON PS.

Features

  • Handpieces that utilise jets of powder, warm water, and air
  • Jets can reach speeds of over 400 km/h
  • Gently clean, polish, debride and whiten teeth without touching them

Process

  • The calculus and biofilm are exposed by the application of a safe dye solution (optional).
  • The practitioner will provide tips on how to improve or maintain oral care at home for the patient.
  • The AIRFLOW handpiece removes biofilm and stains on teeth, restorations and implants, whilst also serving as a polisher. The PERIOFLOW handpiece is used in conjunction to remove biofilm in gum disease.

  • The PIEZON PS tip will remove any remaining tartar on the teeth in a minimally invasive, comfortable manner.

PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN (PRF)

PRF, also known as Platelet-Rich Fibrin, is a modern, holistic and 100% biocompatible restorative substance. Generated from a sample of your own blood, it is a natural concentrate of growth factors and cytokines and contains a fibrin matrix with trapped platelets, leukocytes, and stem cells. It ensures greatly accelerated healing rates for any surgical procedure – at least twice as fast – and a procedure with minimal pain and bleeding in only a single appointment. PRF can be used to enhance a large variety of procedures.

PRF provides several benefits including:

  • Produced rapidly at the chairside
  • Affordable
  • Readily available
  • Practically no risk of rejection reaction

Design Features

  • Promotes accelerated soft and hard tissue healing by releasing growth factors over time
  • Enhance the healing process in procedures like extractions, implant placement, and periodontal surgeries

  • The fibrin matrix in PRF acts as a scaffold for new bone formation, making it useful in bone grafting and sinus lift procedures

  • Combines with bone substitutes to improve bone regeneration and implant integration
  • Used to improve the appearance and texture of the gums

  • Contains leukocytes that exhibit anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, helping to reduce the risk of post-operative complications

  • The preparation process is relatively simple and can be performed chairside in the dental practice
  • Cost-effective alternative to other regenerative materials, as it utilizes the patient's own blood
  • Can be used in a variety of dental procedures, including implantology, periodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics.

TEKSCAN

TekScan is a digital occlusal (bite) analysis system which helps practitioners identify the timing and level of force on occlusal surfaces (bite surfaces) as well as the stability of the patient’s overall bite.

The technology in T-Scan includes intraoral sensors and scanning electronics. The T-Scan software records occlusal data whilst providing analysis that allows practitioners to determine the first and last contact, balance of occlusal contacts and identify possible destructive forces on the teeth. This technology can generate reports on your scan which the patient can review and take home.

Design Features

  • Pressure mapping technology that can measure the distribution of forces and pressures between two surfaces

  • Offers a range of sensor products to measure force, pressure, and load across various applications
  • Provides specialized software to capture, visualize, and analyze the sensor data

  • Provide high-speed, real-time data capture and display of pressure and force measurements

MODJAW

Modjaw is one of the most advanced technologies in digital occlusal (bite) analysis globally. Specially adapted for dental use, it allows our practitioners to digitally scan, observe and record extremely precise movements of the jaw within only a few minutes and in a comfortable and non-invasive manner. It incorporates dynamic motion of the jaw through inbuilt sensors and an advanced optical camera, which enhances functional and aesthetic aspects of patients’ smiles and general oral well-being. With a detailed understanding of the various movements of the jaw provided by the Modjaw, the long-term success of oral rehabilitations and restorations are increased.

Advanced Dental Healthcare Pty. Ltd. is one of the first companies in Western Australia to integrate the Modjaw within the digital workflow, paving the way to greater understanding and subsequent oral well-being for patients.

Design Features

  • Tracks the patient's jaw movements in real-time, recording the kinematics of their temporomandibular joint (TMJ)

  • Measures the bite force at different points in the mouth to assess the patient's masticatory function
  • The software can simulate the patient's jaw movements for treatment planning
  • Captured data can be seamlessly integrated into the dental practice's digital workflow for diagnosis, treatment planning and prosthetic design

PHILIPS ZOOM TOOTH WHITENING

Philips Zoom is a professional teeth whitening system that is widely used by dental professionals for in-office teeth whitening treatments. It's known for its ability to dramatically lighten the color of teeth through a process that uses a hydrogen peroxide-based whitening gel and a specialized light to accelerate the bleaching process. Philips Zoom has become one of the most popular professional whitening systems due to its effectiveness and relatively quick treatment times.

Design Features

  • Can whiten teeth in a single visit, though results can vary depending on the individual's initial tooth color and condition

  • Uses a proprietary LED light to accelerate the whitening process safely and effectively as the light activates the hydrogen peroxide gel applied to the teeth, helping it to penetrate and break down complex molecules that cause stains
  • Treatments often include a post-treatment application of an ACP (amorphous calcium phosphate) gel, which helps to minimise tooth sensitivity
  • Gums are protected during the application to prevent irritation from the whitening agents
