What to bring
- Health fund card (for on-the-spot claiming with Tyro)
- Medicare card and DVA card, if you have them (we lodge eligible Medicare, CDBS and DVA claims through Tyro Health)
- Concession card, if applicable
- List of medications
- Recent X-rays or scans, if you have them
- Referral letter, if you have one
- Glasses for reading forms
Register online
Save time on the day: complete our online registration form (about 5 minutes). It covers your details, health history, medicines and consent, and gives you a PDF copy.
Prefer paper? You can complete the form at the front desk.

Your first appointment
Arrive 10 minutes early
Time to settle in. If you haven’t registered online, you can complete your medical history at reception.
Comprehensive examination
A thorough check of teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues. Digital X-rays are taken if needed, and we may take a 3D digital scan of your teeth.
Talk it through
We explain what we found, your options, costs and health fund claiming, in plain English.
Clean or treatment
Often a professional clean on the day; other treatment is booked at a time that suits you.
Clinical notes, with your permission. With your permission, our dentists may use Heidi, a secure clinical transcription tool, to transcribe your conversation during your appointment and help draft your clinical notes. Your dentist reviews and edits every note, and Heidi doesn't make any decisions about your care. Paying on the day
- Pay at reception by EFTPOS or card, including tap and pay, on our Tyro terminals.
- Bring your health fund card: we claim on the spot, so you pay only the gap.
- Eligible Medicare (CDBS) and DVA claims are lodged through Tyro Health. Bring your Medicare or DVA card.
- Your dentist explains costs before any treatment, and you get a written estimate for planned treatment.
- Payment plans are available through Tyro and are tailored to each patient. Ask us about eligibility, terms and any fees before you start.
